The Joint Care Center at  West Marion Community Hospital performs a number of orthopaedic surgical procedures. The staff is made up of Orthopaedic surgeons, registered nurses, physical therapists, occupational health therapists and other healthcare workers specially trained in orthopedic medicine. They focus on the wellness concept and offer many special amenities to meet the specific needs of joint replacement candidates.  Additionally, Joint Pain Seminars are offered on the second Thursday of every month free of charge. Emergency Care

The Emergency Room at West Marion Community Hospital is open around the clock, seven days a week, to provide urgent care when time is critical. To assure that patients at immediate risk are treated first, all patients presented to the Emergency Department receive a prompt evaluation by a triage nurse. The 12-bed, all private room, Emergency Department at West Marion is the only Emergency facility located in west Marion County that is attached to a hospital.

Cardiac Imaging

West Marion Community Hospital offers the latest cardiac imaging technologies. We offer Echocardiography - noninvasive diagnostic tests that allow our physicians to evaluate the status of heart valves and muscles.

Cardiac Non-Invasive

Thallium, Cardiolite & Chemical Stress Testing are available at West Marion.   Each procedure is designed to provide your cardiologist with an evaluation of the coronary arteries of the heart. This battery of tests have been performed since the 1940's with millions of procedures completed each year. Highly accurate and cost-effective, these tests are administered by a team of professionals made up of doctors, pharmacists and technologists whose purpose is to make your experience as pleasant as possible.
